Newsrack Permit

Placement of a newsrack in the City of Cambridge requires a permit and a Certificate of Insurance issued to the City of Cambridge.
Permittee is responsible to state proposed locations that are in compliance with City of Cambridge Ordinance, Chapter 12.18. Placement for proposed racks will be decided on a first come first served basis.
There is a Certificate of Compliance fee in the amount of 200.00 paid to the City due upon initial application and upon each renewal. In addition to the 200.00 fee, an annual fee of 25.00 per newsrack shall be paid to offset the City's cost of monitoring compliance with the ordinance governing newracks.
