Kinnaird Street Reconstruction

June 12, 2014

As part of the City’s 5 Year Street and Sidewalk Reconstruction program, Kinnaird Street, from Putnam Avenue to River Street, is scheduled to go to construction in spring 2015. This past April, a community meeting was held to initiate the design process for the project and over the past couple of months, city staff has spent time analyzing the current design and the suggestions that were brought forth at the first community meeting. On Thursday, June 26 at 6:30pm in the Moore Youth Center (12 Gilmore Street), the Community Development Department and the Department of Public Works will host another community meeting to continue discussions about the Kinnaird Street design. Notices were distributed to area residents last Thursday, June 12.
