Mead Street Reconstruction

September 22, 2014

In early September, the City’s contractor, D’Allessandro Corporation, installed a new drainage structure on Mead Street. While performing the drainage work, it was discovered that sewer line on Mead Street is in need of repairs. The sidewalk and roadway restoration phase of this project has been postponed until the sewer line has been repaired.

Over the past week, construction crews have installed a new drainage structure on Mead Street. While performing the drainage work, it was discovered that other utility lines may need to be replaced. In lieu of this discovery, the sidewalk restoration phase of this project has been postponed until an evaluation of the utility lines in question has been completed.
