As part of the City’s Street and Sidewalk Reconstruction program, Pearl Street is scheduled to be reconstructed between Granite Street and Massachusetts Avenue. The City is anticipating that this work will begin in the Summer/Fall 2016. Due to the large scope of work, the project will be divided up into 2 phases. One phase will consist of roadway and sidewalk reconstruction on Pearl Street between Granite Street and Erie Street and the other phase will consist of roadway and sidewalk reconstruction between Erie Street and Massachusetts Avenue.
On Wednesday, February 26 at 6:30pm in the Amigos School cafeteria (located at 15 Upton Street), the Community Development Department and the Department of Public Works will be hosting a community meeting to begin the design process for the project. We encourage you to attend, as we value the feedback we receive from Cambridge residents and businesses. Additional community meetings will be held during the design process.
