Chapter 90 Contract 13

Includes Chauncy St, Upland Rd (Raymond to Huron), Lowell St, Pemberton St, Henry St

This project has been completed. No further updates to this project page will be made.


Crews are have completed the work on Lowell St and Henry St.

Paving on Chauncy St is scheduled to take place after additional utility work is completed on the street.  We do not have a paving date at this time.

Surface improvementson Lowell St and Henry St are complete.   All work is expected to complete work on all streets by the spring of 2012. 

We do not have a paving date for Chauncy St at this time.  

 

 

 

Chapter 90 contracts are funded by the state and managed by the Public Works Department. They are a major portion of the Engineering Division's five year plan. Construction generally includes surface enhancements such as pavement, sidewalk and pedestrian ramp reconstruction, traffic calming, and greenscaping. Minor stormwater management is also occasionally included.

Chauncy Street (Massachusetts Ave to Garden St)

  • New water services (select locations), catch basins, pedestrian ramps, and roadway paving.

 

Upland Road (Raymond St to Huron Ave)

  • New water services (select locations), catch basins, sidewalks, pedestrian ramps, roadway paving.
  • Traffic elements, including a curb extension on Upland Rd at Newell St, and one on Huron Ave at the intersection of Huron and Upland.

 

Lowell Street (Brattle St to Mt. Auburn St)

  • New catch basins, sidewalks, pedestrian ramps, roadway paving.

 

Pemberton Street (Massachusetts Ave to Fairfield St)

  • New sidewalks, pedestrian ramps, roadway paving.

 

Henry Street (Brookline St to Pearl St)

  • New sidewalks, pedestrian ramps, roadway paving.
