Join the Department of Public Works to celebrate the City’s first “Arbor Week.” This special week is focused on activities and information to promote Cambridge’s Urban Forest and runs from Monday, April 24th through Arbor Day, Friday, April 28th.
Four DPW employees who demonstrated exemplary work performance will be recognized with the presentation of the "Commissioner's Award for Outstanding Performance" at a ceremony on Wednesday, May 24th.
This notice is required by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) as an annual update on the progress of Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) control measures to improve the water quality of Alewife Brook. You are receiving this notice because your property lies within the extended 100-year floodplain of Alewife Brook as established and currently in effect by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
