Longfellow Bridge MBTA Red Line Weekend Diversion Cancelled for September 14/15

Longfellow Bridge Rehabilitation Project Update

The MBTA Red Line diversion planned for the weekend of Saturday, Sept. 14, and Sunday, Sept. 15, has been cancelled.  The remaining MBTA scheduled diversion weekends for 2013 are October 26-27, November 2-3, and November 23-24.

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation is rehabilitating the historic Longfellow Bridge under a $255.5 million project funded through the Patrick Administration’s Accelerated Bridge Program. The design-build entity for the project is White-Skanska-Consigli.
