The ABC Stormwater Flooding Board was created to allow the Municipalities of Arlington, Belmont & Cambridge to work jointly and cooperatively to identify and implement cost effective solutions to reduce or eliminate any adverse effects of flooding and other hazards in the Alewife sub-watershed area.

Join us for a presentation by Julie Wormser, VP for Policy and Planning of Boston Harbor Now

“The Old City and the Sea”

Julie will explore Boston’s evolving relationship with the ocean—how the city was built up over the past three centuries and what that means as we face sea-level rise over the coming decades. She will discuss Boston's specific coastal flood challenges and real world design solutions that can maintain and even increase the city's vitality as we prepare for the rising tide.

The presentation is scheduled to be held on January 10th from 6:15pm – 6:45pm in the Lyon’s Hearing Room, Arlington Town Hall, 2nd floor. After the session there will be a brief question and answer session available to attendees related to the presentation.
