Massachusetts Ave Paving

The City’s contractor, Newport Construction, will pave both sides of Massachusetts Ave, from Linnaean St to Upland Rd, on Sunday, June 11.  The hours for the paving operation will 7 AM on Sunday, to 4 AM on Monday, June 12.  

Vehicle access in and out of properties will be restricted at times while crews perform the paving operation.  Please plan vehicle trips accordingly.

Paving Schedule

• On Sunday, June 11, crews will pave Mass Ave, from Linnaean St to Upland Rd (both sides).  
• Paving hours will be 7 AM on Sunday to 4 AM on Monday morning.
• Please note that the paving will be rescheduled in the event of rain. 
• The rain date for paving is Sunday, June 18. 

What to Expect during Paving 

• Work hours will be 7 AM on Sunday, to 4 AM on Monday (if needed). 
• Vehicle access in and out of properties will be restricted at times during paving. Please plan vehicle and parking trips accordingly. 
• There will be intermittent detours during paving; police details will be onsite to assist neighbors.
• “No Parking” signs will be posted; please be sure to check dates/times.  
• Emergency vehicles will have access at all times.
