A strong tree canopy cools city temperatures and lessens stormwater runoff. The Urban Forest Master Plan will guide the City in keeping trees healthy and expanding Cambridge's tree canopy.The City of Cambridge is collecting information on residents’ awareness and perceptions of the urban forest (all the trees in the city) through an online survey as part of the Urban Forest Master Plan project. The survey below will take about 5-10 minutes to complete and will help to inform the development of the Urban Forest Master Plan. The survey is offered in multiple languages.
