Single Stream Recycling Information

10/18/2010

Vladimir (left) from the Peabody After School and Jaffrey (right) from the Council on Aging remind you that recycling is easier than ever with the new recycling toters.

Single Stream Recycling is Here

What is single stream recycling?
No more sorting! With single stream, or "zero-sort" recycling, residents will be able to mix clean papers, cardboard, bottles and cans together in the same recycling bin. All clean cardboard will be accepted.

Have Extra Recycling Bins?

If you need to return old or broken recycling bins, please stack and place them upside down at the curb.   Broken bins will be recycled and bins in good condition will be washed, stored and redistributed.

For more information, visit the Recycling Division's page.
