Alewife Brook Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Annual Update

The notice below is required by the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) as an annual update on the progress of Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) control measures that are underway to improve the water quality of Alewife Brook. Residents receive this notice if their property lies in the extended 100-year floodplain of Alewife Brook as established and currently in effect by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Public Works will distribute the notice to residents residing in the floodplain.
