Huron A Project Roadway Paving

The City’s contractor, P. Gioioso & Sons, Inc., will begin roadway paving during the week of October 27. In preparation for paving, the contractor will raise the manhole castings during the week of October 20, 2014. The raised castings will be painted bright orange to improve visibility. Please exercise additional caution when driving in these areas. Final paving will begin, per details below.

Estimated Paving Schedule
• 10/27 - Larch Road (South) – (binder course repair only)
• 10/28 - Grozier Road
• 10/29 - Lexington Avenue (North), Poplar Road, Hawthorne Park
• 10/30 - Lakeview Avenue (North), Malcolm Road, Worthington Street
• 10/31 - Vassal Lane (Lakeview to Standish) – (paving will begin AFTER 9am)

NOTE: Paving dates are weather dependent. Any changes to the above schedule will be

What to Expect During Road Pavement Activities:
• There will be No Parking allowed on the street between the hours of 7am and 4pm. We ask you
   to pay attention to all “No Parking” signs, which will be posted 24-hours in advance of this work.
• There will be No Vehicle Access to/from driveways from 7am to 4pm for the dates noted above.
• Pedestrian traffic will be unimpeded along the existing sidewalks, with some restrictions at crossings.
• The roadway(s) will be closed between the hours of 7am-4pm, but crews will make every effort to open the roadway as soon as possible.
• Emergency vehicles will have access to the roadways at all times.
• City services will continue uninterrupted.
