ROAD CLOSURE: Lakeview Avenue (Brattle to Huron)
Begins Monday, March 28th

The City’s contractor, Barletta Heavy Division, will continue installing the new water main along Huron Avenue, and will soon be approaching the intersection of Lakeview Avenue and Huron Avenue.

Beginning Monday, March 28th, Lakeview Avenue (Brattle to Huron) will be closed, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to through traffic, in order to facilitate this work.

We are anticipating this road closure will last 3 weeks, however, we will make every effort to expedite this work to minimize the length of time access to Lakeview Avenue (between Brattle and Huron) from Huron Avenue is impacted.

During this time, local residents accessing Lakeview Avenue (Brattle to Huron) will need to enter and exit from the Brattle Street end, as the Huron Avenue end will be closed. Police details and/or signage will be in place to assist traffic through this temporary road closure. Please pay attention to all posted “Road Closed” and “No Parking” signs, which will be posted a minimum of 24 hours in advance.

For questions about this work or if you have any special access needs, contact Bruno Cardarelli, Resident Engineer, or KyAnn Anderson, Community Relations Manager.  For weekly construction updates and potential schedule changes, please see the project website at: http://www.cambridgema.gov/theworks/HuronB.
