Cemetery Hours..
Summer hours are 7 am to dusk, winter hours are 7 am to 5 pm. The office is open to provide customer service and information from 7 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday, except on certain holidays.
Cemetery staff
provides high-quality ground maintenance including flower and tree planting, landscaping, road improvements, repair of historical monuments, and development of new burial sites.
Historic Preservation
The Cemetery Chapel and fence were restored using CPA (Community Preservation Act) funds as part of a larger Historic Preservation Project.
The Cemetery Division is responsible for grave site preparation and other burial services, as well as the grounds and maintenance program on the Cemetery’s 66 acre site.
Notable Burials in Cambridge
The Cambridge Cemetery is the resting place of Medal of Honor recipients Joseph F. Scott and Alphonso M. Lunt, prominent literary figures Henry and William James and William Dean Howells, Baseball Hall of Famers John Clarkson and Timothy Keefe, and other notable Cantabridgians.

The Cemetery is open daily for visitors during the summer season from 7:00 am until dusk and during the winter season from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm. The Cemetery office is open from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday to provide information and customer service.
