If you like to talk to strangers and love recycling and composting, you have come to the right place. We would love your help to increase recycling and composting in Cambridge by educating the public at events throughout the year.

- City Sprouts Festival (10/14, Ahern Field, 12 noon -3pm)
- Oktoberfest & Honk Festival (10/7 raindate 10/8, noon-7pm, Harvard Square)
- 2nd Annual Rib Festival (10/21, Cambridge St 6th-Fulkerson, Noon-6pm)

If you would like to volunteer regularly at different events, ask for an outreach packet which includes:

Recycling & Trash Guide (English, Spanish, Chinese, Haitian Creole, Ethiopian and Portguese)
- Posters for multi-family buildings
- Recycling labels for toters or any 32-gal barrel
- 50% Recycling Pledge (clipboard, signup sheets, stickers)
- Signup for toter requests
- Yard waste labels
- Composting information
- Composting is easy flyer
- Composting with worms - powerpoint handout
- Flipbook with presentation slides on recycling, composting and zero waste
- T-shirt for volunteer
- Business cards for a recycling staffer
