Composting
Composting is nature's way of recycling and a terrific way to reduce waste and protect the climate. Turn food and yard waste back into soil for gardens or houseplants. Compost in your backyard or indoors with worms, or use our food scraps drop-off program. By recycling food, we reduce methane emissions at landfills that result from decaying organic matter. Did you know that methane gas is 72 times more potent as a greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide over a 20-year timeframe?
