Graffiti Removal
Cambridge's graffiti removal program involves a cooperative effort between Public Works, the Police Department, residents, and property owners to remove graffiti from private property.
To report graffiti, call Public Works at 617.349.4800, email us, or use Cambridge iReport. Cambridge iReport is also available on your mobile device, download the app from the iTunes App Store or the Android Marketpalce.
Once the graffiti is reported, an inspector is sent out to examine the damage and to schedule cleaning of graffiti on public property.
If it is determined that Public Works can safely and effectively remove graffiti on private property, a waiver form is sent to the owner of the property. Upon receipt of the signed waiver, a crew is scheduled to remove the graffiti.
