Take the 50% Recycling Pledge Today
The City of Cambridge invites you to pledge to recycle at least 50% of your trash. Visit the Recycling page to take the pledge and get a free “Recycle More Trash Less” sticker!
Cambridge residents are great recyclers, but we can do better. We recycle 35% of our trash, but did you know that 25% of what we still throw out could be recycled? The pledge is open to Cambridge residents, city departments, schools, businesses, houses of worship and community groups.
Recycling conserves energy and natural resources, curbs climate change and creates jobs. The City saves $50-$70 per ton when we recycle more. Make a commitment to recycle more and trash less. Please tell your family, friends and neighbors to join in taking the pledge today! A little effort makes a big difference.
Thanks to everyone that has already taken the pledge!
