Bow Tie Bike Ride Bikers

With National Bike Safety Month and Bay State Bike Week in May, Cambridge Police and Community Development departments are hosting/partnering in various events to increase the safety of all people who walk, cycle or drive. 

A Healthy Aging Dinner & Focus Group
Wednesday, May 20, 6-8 P.M.
Conversation about barriers to bicycling for people ages 50+. Interested participants must RSVP with jlawrence@cambridgema.gov.

Log your commute and come learn all about getting around town without getting behind the wheel! We’ll have representatives from the Cambridge Police Department, the Charles River TMA, the Massachusetts Bicycle Challenge, and much more! And LUNA Bars – lots of LUNA bars.

Healthy Aging On-Bicycle Refresher workshop
Memorial Drive, exact location to be sent with RSVP
Are you 50+? Then get on over to Memorial Drive on May 31 for a 4-hour on-bike training, while talking with CDD staff about barriers to bicycling in Cambridge!
You must RSVP for this workshop.
