City of Cambridge to Release Request for Proposals for Parking Management Information System

The City of Cambridge employs a comprehensive and integrated approach to parking management. To support its parking program the City’s Traffic, Parking, and Transportation Department, through the Purchasing Department, will soon release a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a vendor to provide and manage an automated Parking Management Information System (PMIS). This system must integrate and support all facets of the City’s parking program from issuance of parking tickets to final ticket disposition as well as the City’s parking permit program.

Tentative Timeline

  • Monday, June 15, 2015 – RFP advertised in Goods and Services and available to vendors
  • Thursday, July 9, 2015 @ 11:00 AM – Proposals due to the City of Cambridge Purchasing Department
  • Tuesday and Wednesday, July 14 and 15, 2015 – Presentations by vendors
  • Friday, August 7, 2015 – Contract award decision announced
