The City of Cambridge completed a proof of concept pilot wifi project in early 2008 at the Newtowne Court Housing complex.  During the pilot we evaluated the feasibility of future rollout of the technology City wide.  It was determined that the technology and cost were still prohibitive for a full City wide program. We continue to research and test wifi technology and will provide updates periodically if the situation changes.
