Thursday, July 31, 1:00 P.M. Baby goats, bunnies, puppies and kittens in the library! All ages.

Pig Out on Reading!
Saturday, August 16, at 11:00 A.M. Farmer Minor will tell stories and read to Daisy…the world’s most famous pig. Pet her, too! Age 3 and up.

Chess for Children and Teens
Mondays, at 5:00 P.M. Come learn the basics or some new master moves!  Age 5 and up. Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult.

The Museum of Science Presents: Animal Invaders
Thursday, July 3, at 3:30 P.M. How do some animals walk on the ceiling while others can fit through holes smaller than their bodies? Who needs to eat ten percent of their body weight on a daily basis? Find answers to these questions and more! A museum educator will explain how some animals have adapted to live successfully among humans. Live animal invaders! For age 7 and up.

Jungle Encounters
Thursday, July 31, at 3:30 P.M. Are you curious about wild animals? Meet some live wild cats and other jungle animals. Learn how wild cats survive in the wild, what they prey on, their conservation issues and current projects to help protect them in the wild.

Reading Marathon
Thursday, August 7. Bring a pillow and your favorite books to read in the library from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. After a full morning of reading, we’ll treat ourselves to the perfect pick-me-up: pizza! All readers welcome. All ages.

Summer Reading Final Party with Jim St. Clair!
Thursday, August 21, at 3:30 P.M. End the summer with music! Shake out your summer sluggishness with the sensational music of Jim St. Clair! He will lead us through a round of songs and treat us to a story. Please come and say hello to Jim. Don’t miss out on the fun! All ages.
