The City of Cambridge Department of Veterans’ Services (DVS) will hold a Patriots' Day Observance event on Monday, April 15, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., on the Cambridge Common, located outside of Harvard Square surrounded by Massachusetts Avenue, Garden Street and Waterhouse Street.
The City of Cambridge Department of Veterans Services will host a Veterans Day Observance event on Saturday, November 11, from 11 a.m.-12 p.m., at Cambridge Common. A Veterans Appreciation Week will be held November 13-17, at the Veterans' Life and Recreation Center, 51 Inman Street, 2nd floor, Cambridge. events will provide an opportunity for veterans and their loved ones to gather and participate in health, wellness, and other fun and interactive activities. Free food and refreshments will also be available each day from 12-4 p.m.
The Cambridge community is invited to join the City's Department of Veterans' Services Saturday, May 27, at 9:30 a.m., at Cambridge Cemetery, 89 Coolidge Avenue, to decorate our Cambridge veterans’ graves. A formal observance will also be held on Monday, May 29, at 10:30 a.m., at Cambridge Common
The City of Cambridge Department of Veterans’ Services (DVS) will hold a Patriot’s Day Observance event on Monday, April 17, at 10:30 a.m., on the Cambridge Common, 1500 Massachusetts Avenue.
The City of Cambridge Department of Veterans’ Services hosted an event on April 4 at Cambridge City Hall to honor lifelong Cambridge resident and U.S. Army veteran, Corporal Wing “Vinny” Wong, 94.
On Saturday, May 28, from 9-10 a.m., the community is invited to help decorate veterans’ graves with flags at Cambridge Cemetery. A speaking program and entertainment will follow. The Memorial Day Observance will be held Monday, May 30, at 10:30 a.m., on Cambridge Common.
The City of Cambridge and Cambridge Department of Veterans' Services (DVS) invite the public to attend its annual Veterans’ Day Observance on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at 11:00 a.m., at the Veterans’ World War I Monument near the main gate of the Cambridge Cemetery, 76 Coolidge Avenue. Veterans, Police, and Fire departments’ Color Guards will muster at the World War I monument.
