Property Mailing Address Change

Assessing

This change of address form will change the mailing address used for the real estate parcel for the Assessor’s office database and the real estate tax bill.

Address changes will not appear on the City’s Property Database until the First half bill is mailed in the fall.

FOR NEW PROPERTY OWNERS: The Assessing database is only updated once per year, for the 1st half bill, mailed in the fall.  The Assessing department is legally required to list the ownership of the property as of each January 1st.  If you purchased the property after January 1st, the tax bill will list the previous owner’s name.   The following January 1st is when the new ownership information will be reflected on the 1st half tax bill, mailed in the fall.
