Do you have a disability that makes it hard to walk or move around? Wonder if an adaptive bike might work for you? Come to the Cambridge Adaptive Cycling Open House!
This open house will allow people with disabilities to try out adaptive bikes and learn about Cambridge's upcoming lottery for discount certificates to buy a bike.
The open house will be held Thursday, Feb. 20 from 3:30pm to 5:30pm at Spaulding Cambridge Cullinane Center, 1575 Cambridge Street.
You will learn about:
- Pedal-powered bikes or with electric motors that help when pedaling
- Adaptive bikes and buying tips
- Cambridge’s upcoming bike lottery
Spaulding Physical Therapists and Bike-On staff will be present to assist.
Hovey Ave resident parking will be restricted for disability parking from 2:30-6 p.m.
