An Electric Vehicle Ride & Drive Event at Danehy Park

(CAMBRIDGE) Curious what it’s like to own and drive a plug-in electric car (PEV)? Take electric vehicles for a test drive on Saturday, September 15th from 11am-4pm during the free, no sales-pressure electric vehicle Expo. The event will be held at Danehy Park and includes test drives, informational booths, and a first come, first serve BBQ. This event coincides with the annual nationwide National Drive Electric Week.

This educational event offers licensed drivers the chance to test out a variety of electric vehicles from BMW, Chevrolet, Honda, Nissan, Toyota and more. Grab some burgers and dogs from the Danehy Park Family Day BBQ, and visit vendors to learn how to integrate sustainability into your life. Bring your driver’s license and your curiosity, and leave with the knowledge and experience to see how an electric car can work for you. You’ll also learn about charging your vehicle with your home, solar panels, and the up to $10,000 in incentives and rebates available from the state and federal governments

The event is a partnership between the City of Cambridge, Eversource, and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ MASS DRIVE CLEAN initiative and is professionally produced by REACH Strategies.
