Charles River Dam Locks closed to commercial boats and pedestrian access

Pedestrian & Boating Traffic Advisory: Charles River Dam Locks
The Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR)has made the following announcement:
Access to the pedestrian walkway over the Charles River Dam Locks will close from 7:00 A. M. on Tuesday, December 4 through Wednesday, December 12 at 4:00 P. M. Pedestrians are advised to use alternate routes such as the North Washington Street Bridge during this time.
The Commercial Boat Lock of the Dam will also be out of service during this time.
Any vessel with a beam greater than 22' will not be able to transit the locks during this time. The United States Coast Guard is aware of this work.
