What to Expect during Renovations
The park will be closed to all users once crews mobilize.  No Parking signs will be posted along Elm St and Hampshire St; please be sure to check dates and times.  Work hours will be 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.

The Community Development Department has planned a comprehensive renovation of the Elm and Hampshire Plaza. The plaza is located at the corner of Elm Street and Hampshire Street in the Wellington-Harrington neighborhood. The renovated plaza is intended to be more inviting and interesting with whimsical and playful elements and will feature new seating areas, small climbing and spinning structures, a dance chimes feature, lighting, an internal path, and new plantings and landscaping.

Park improvements throughout the city are also guided by the goals of Healthy Parks and Playgrounds Initiative.
