Presidential Primary

Description

The Presidential Primary is on Tuesday, March 3, 2020. 

Before Election Day

Voter registration ends on Wednesday, February 12. The Election Commission office will be open until 8 p.m. for Voter Registration on February 12. 

Early Voting is available from Monday, February 24 through Friday, February 28, at six locations in Cambridge. 

If you are eligible to vote absentee, the absentee ballots will be available before the early voting period. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is Monday, March 2, at 12pm (noon).

On Election Day

Polls are open from 7 am until 8 pm at all Cambridge polling locations. 

You must vote at the polling location where you are registered. There will be no voting at early voting locations or the Election Commission office on Election Day. You can call the Election Commission at 617-349-4361 to find out where to vote or visit www.wheredoivotema.com. You can also download a map or list of polling locations here

Information for Voters

There are different versions of the ballot depending on where you live and what party you are voting. Visit www.wheredoivotema.com and type in your address to see a sample ballot for each party in your district.  You can also download a list of all candidates in Cambridge districts (PDF)
