Description

Are you worried about overdoses happening in your neighborhood? Have you wondered how you can help prevent a fatal overdose?

Learn how to prevent, recognize and respond to an opioid overdose at this comprehensive free training, which also covers:

  • Recognizing the signs of an overdose
  • Responding to an overdose safely and effectively
  • Empowering yourself to make the right decisions
Pharmacists will be on-site dispensing naloxone, the medication that reverses the effects of an overdose. If you are interested in leaving the event with naloxone, bring your insurance card. To save time, insurance information can also be submitted beforehand at: https://www.endmassoverdose.org/opioidrescue.

Light refreshments will be served. View the flyer

The training is sponsored by the Cambridge Public Health Department, AIDS Action Committee, and Faith Lutheran Church.
