Description

Presented by New Leaf Legal and the Community Development Department. Free to Cambridge residents and business owners. $10 for non-Cambridge participants.

Think your business doesn't involve intellectual property? Think again! IP goes beyond patents.  If your business has a name or a logo or involves any kind of art -- from fine art to web development -- your business has intellectual property. In this digital age, your brand can be one of the most important assets you have. This seminar will discuss trademarks, what the benefits are, options for legally protecting them, and everyday tips for maintaining a good business strategy for your "intangible" business assets. Join us for a lively discussion and bring your questions!

BONUS:  Eligible participants will be offered an additional 2 FREE HOURS of one-to-one advising with the instructor after the workshop. Limited spaces. First come, first served.

Registration is required. To register online click here.

Registrations close 2 HOURS BEFORE the workshop begins.
