Helping You Get Connected:
Accessing Affordable Communication Services via the Lifeline Program and other Low-Cost Internet Options in your Community

Please join representatives from the Massachusetts Department of Telecommunications and Cable’s (“DTC”) Consumer Division to learn about the Lifeline Program, a federal program designed to connect income-eligible households to the nation’s voice and broadband networks by providing a monthly discount on a qualifying communications service.
DTC staff will detail the Lifeline Program’s eligibility requirements and highlight recent changes to the application process. Staff will also explain the temporary program modifications made by the Federal Communications Commission to assist consumers impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and discuss other low-cost internet options available to help you get connected!

This event is open to all and will be presented on Zoom. Registration is required by 12pm on Wednesday, December 9th. To register please contact Vincent McCarthy at 617-349-6216 or at vmccarthy@cambridgema.gov
