Through this internship, participants will serve as Youth Delegates in the CIty's Participatory Budgeting (PB) process, which invites the Cambridge community to vote on how to spend $1 million of the City's budget. Youth Delegates will be encouraged to be the driving force behind researching and shaping capital project suggestions generated by residents through the Participatory Budgeting process. Through this internship, teens will engage with the Cambridge community, learn how their decisions impact the community, model positive culture for other teen participants, and ensure that youth input is part of the Participatory Budgeting process.
