Join Cambridge Animal Commission for a special presentation on Living with Coyotes Thursday, February 13, at 6:30 p.m., at the Walter J. Sullivan Water Purification Facility, 250 Fresh Pond Parkway Cambridge. Learn more about one of the most misunderstood and remarkable animals in North America.

Guest speaker John Maguranis,
Massachusetts Representative for Project Coyote, will will cover the natural behavior of coyotes, their diet and habits, myths and facts, origin and history, and pet and human safety

Maguranis served in the US Army as a veterinary technician for more than 20 years. Upon retiring from the army, he followed his love for animals and became an Animal Control Officer. Maguranis
has since retired, but during his time as an ACO, he quickly recognized the unfair press regarding coyotes and started a campaign to educate the community about why coyotes matter ecologically and why they deserve respect and appreciation. Maguranis is currently the Massachusetts Representative for Project Coyote, and has given over 100 presentations about living with coyotes.
