A resident reported an attempted fraud on June 15, 2022 at approximately 3:30 p.m. A suspect posing as a Homeland Security Agent tried to extort thousands of dollars from the victim to "clear up" fictitious warrants. The victim did not pay any money but did reveal personal information to the suspect.

Units responded to a hospital for a report of a disturbance. A patient who was being brought in the emergency room pushed his doctor on the way to his room. A Cambridge Police Detective witnessed the assault and attempted to de-escalate situation. The patient then attacked the Cambridge Police Detective, kicking him with a shod foot. He is being charged with Assault and Battery for assaulting his doctor, Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon for assaulting the Cambridge Police Detective.
