Cambridge Police arrested Joshua Hurd, 32, 179.5 Harvard St, Cambridge MA, for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. An investigation determined that after an altercation, Hurd had threatened to kill an individual, while approaching in a threatening manner with a knife in his hand.

David Andersson 43, 51 Clifton St, Cambridge MA, was arrested for OUI-Liquor and OUI-Drugs. Andersson was observed in the driver's seat of his idling car and admitted to drinking "too much" alcohol, ingesting methadone, and failing given field sobriety test.

Diane Coughlin, 53, 244 Massachusetts Ave, Arlington was arrested for OUI Alcohol after she was suspected of being intoxicated while operating her motor vehicle on a public way in Cambridge. Responding officers spoke with witnesses, observed the operation, and affected a motor vehicle stop of the suspected motor vehicle. Two field sobriety tests were performed on the operator (Coughlin) at the scene. She failed both sobriety tests at the scene and was placed under arrest.

Upon running the driver’s information, it was discovered that the driver was operating their motor vehicle on an expired license and is summonsed to Cambridge District Court for the infraction.

Cambridge Police placed Justin Hines, 26, of Cambridge was placed under arrest for an extraditable warrant out of New Jersey. Mr. Hines was stopped by officers after witnessing Mr. Hines smoking on the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Pleasant Street. A subsequent investigation revealed that Mr. Hines had an active extraditable warrant for burglary out of New Jersey.
