FRANKLIN ST
Cambridge Police responded to the area of Franklin Street for a stolen motor vehicle that had just occurred. Officers located the stolen motor vehicle on Hingham Street and two males ran from the vehicle. As a result, Elijah McKinney, 20, 30 Hingham Street in Cambridge, was arrested for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License, Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle, and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle. In addition, another Cambridge resident will be summonsed for Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle.

Cambridge Police responded to a department store on Massachusetts Avenue for a report of a shoplifting in progress. As a result, Robert Powers, 59, 165 Western Avenue in Cambridge, was arrested for Shoplifting by Asportation after employees saw Powers take two pieces of merchandise and exit the store without paying.

Cambridge Police were conducting a directed patrol in the area of the 600 block of Massachusetts Avenue when they observed an individual known to them that had outstanding warrants. Victoria Shunamon, 37, homeless out of Cambridge, was placed under arrest for warrants out of Cambridge District Court (Larceny Under $1,200, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, and Intimidating a Witness/Juror/Court Official).
