ANTRIM ST
A resident of Somerville was summonsed for unlicensed operation and a restricted way violation. They were initially stopped after being observed down Antrim Street from Cambridge Street in contradiction of the two illuminated "DO NOT ENTER" signs on either side of the street. When the vehicle was stopped by police, the operator was found not to have a valid driver's license.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
A resident of Cambridge was summonsed for Possession of a Class A Drug, Possession of a Class B Drug, and Trespassing. During an area check of Temple Street, the defendant was observed in an area with a posted no trespassing sign. As officers were approaching the defendant, she was holding a hypodermic needle loaded with appeared to be heroin. When Officers confronted the defendant, she tried to conceal the syringe filled with heroin. During a probable cause search, it was discovered that the defendant had a folded-up scratch ticket with heroin concealed in it and a plastic baggie filled with what appeared to be crack cocaine. A used crack pipe and other contraband was also discovered in their possession. She was offered treatment services, but refused. A field test revealed that the substance believed to be heroin tested positive for Fentanyl and the substance believed to be crack tested positive for cocaine.

Cambridge Police were conducting directed motor vehicle patrol in the area of Inman and Broadway Streets and conducted a traffic stop after an inquiry showed that the owner/operator currently had a Massachusetts Driver's License status expired/nonrenewable. As a result, a resident of Boston was issued a summons under Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.

A Northhampton resident reported her bike stolen. She locked it to a bike rack at Massachusetts Avenue and Essex Street at 9 a.m. When she returned at 6:45 p.m., the bike was gone, but the lock was still in place.

Cambridge Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit responded to the 1100 block of Cambridge Street for a report of an unattended suit case. Upon arrival the suitcase was investigated and cleared.
