Matthew McCormick, 33, 46 Wildwood Avenue in Braintree, was placed under arrest for the warrants out of Cambridge (Strangulation or Suffocation, Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest) and Dedham District Court (Possession of a Class B and E Drug).

While patrolling on a marked police motorcycle, an officer observed a gray Toyota Yaris with a possible expired registration at the intersection of Broadway and Fayette Street. The vehicle was stopped and the registration was confirmed as expired. A Medford resident was operating the motor vehicle and was found to be unlicensed. The vehicle was towed and the operator was summoned to court for the unregistered motor vehicle and operating unlicensed.
