Jacobie Jefferson, 30, unhoused out of Cambridge, was placed under arrest by Cambridge Police for Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon for striking a party with a plant, Assault and Battery for running into a party with enough force to knock them off their feet and onto the ground, and Disorderly Conduct for his tumultuous behavior by running through Harvard Square, causing the general public to be shocked and alarmed and creating hazardous conditions by knocking over an innocent bystander then climbing onto the roof of a building and hiding in a stairwell pit. Upon further investigation it was also discovered that Jefferson had warrants out of Boston District Court (Larceny from Person and Receiving Stolen Property -$1,200).

Cambridge Police arrested Vincent Dezso, 46, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, for Trespassing, Disorderly Conduct, and two charges on Assault and Battery on a Police Officer. Police were called to a shelter for a report of an unwanted person refusing to leave. Police discovered the defendant yelling and creating a disturbance in the shelter. Staff requested the defendant to be removed from the property. The defendant refused to leave and was placed under arrest by police after resisting and spitting at officers.

Cambridge Police conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle operator in the area of Massachusetts Avenue for a Lights Violation. Upon conducting the traffic stop, it was learned that the operator (Neemias Freitas, 20, 3 Alcot Street in Boston) had a warrant out of Framingham District Court for Receiving Stolen Property $1,200+ and Forgery of a Check. He was arrested by Cambridge Police for the outstanding warrant.

GREEN ST
Cambridge Police responded to Green Street and Western Avenue for reports of an assault in progress. Nelson Moten, 41, 99 Kent Street in Brookline, was placed under arrest after he was observed by responding officers chasing a named and identified victim on foot with an exposed blade in his right hand. Upon observing the presence of responding officers' activated emergency overhead lights, Moten proceeded to flee into the rear of a neighboring convenience store where he was observed discarding something in the trash receptacle at the rear of the store. A search of the trash receptacle revealed that Moten was in possession of a cloth sack containing more than 17 grams of a Class B Substance. He was charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Possession to Distribute a Class B Drug, and Disorderly Conduct.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Cambridge Police issued a Cambridge resident a summons for Assault with a Dangerous Weapon, Possession of a Class B Drug, and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender. Police were dispatched to a convenient store at Massachusetts Avenue for a male threatening to shoot the clerk with a gun, while also being armed with a knife. Officers located the defendant outside of the store and after a pat frisk turned up two black folding knives and small clear plastic baggie containing an off-white crystalline rock-like substance found in plain view protruding from a little pocket above the right front main pocket of his pants. It was later found out during the course of the investigation that the defendant placed one of the black knives on the counter inside the store and the victim was afraid that the defendant was going to stab them as well. After a query of the defendant, it was found out that he already had a prior conviction of Possession of a Class B Drug. He was transported to a local hospital due to medical concerns.

Thomas was placed under arrest after police responded to numerous calls of service involving Thomas where he attempted to strike a security guard with a closed handed fist, damaged two glass doors using multiple projectiles, and caused public annoyance by his tumultuous behavior.

As a result of this investigation, a Somerville resident was summoned to the Cambridge District Court and charged with one count of Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle for passing four vehicles and driving against traffic of a two-way street to cut in front of all four vehicles, while three pedestrians can be observed on the sidewalk nearby, Speeding for accelerating in a 20-mile zone and passing 4 vehicles that were moving in traffic, and a Marked Lanes Violation for crossing the double yellow lines and driving and pass the four vehicles in front of her.

Upon investigation, it was determined that the operator was operating the motor vehicle without a license. As a result, a criminal application was filed for Operating Without a License and Disobeying a Posted Sign. A licensed operator was able to take possession of the vehicle, so it did not have to be towed.
