BROADWAY
While conducting traffic enforcement, an officer observed a vehicle operator proceed through a red light. The vehicle was stopped and the operator, a Cambridge resident, admitted to not having a license. The operator was summoned to court for failing to stop and operating unlicensed. The owner of the vehicle, also a Cambridge resident, was summoned for allowing unlicensed operation.

Cambridge Police responded to a motor vehicle crash in the 1600 block of Massachusetts Avenue. One operator sustained a facial injury, was evaluated on scene by Cambridge Fire and Pro EMS, and then transported to a local hospital for further evaluations and treatment. As a result of this crash, a Hanover resident was summoned to the Cambridge District Court for an Uninsured Motor Vehicle for operating his vehicle on a public way with a revoked registration for insurance purposes.

Cambridge Police responded to the 400 block of Main Street for a motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported from this crash and a report was taken. As a result of this crash, a Boston resident was summoned to the Cambridge District Court for Uninsured Motor Vehicle for operating his vehicle on a public way with a revoked registration for insurance purposes.

As a result of this investigation, a resident who is unhoused in Cambridge will be additionally summonsed to court for Shoplifting by Concealing from a store in Central Square after it was determined she filled up a cart with items from the store, placed the items into store bags, and then exited the store without paying for them.

Officers observed the vehicle go through a red light on Massachusetts Avenue onto Sidney Street Extension. The vehicle was discovered to be unregistered, the owner was issued a citation, and the vehicle was subsequently towed.
