  STEAM Academy: Innovators for Purpose Summer Studio (Main)

  Innovators for Purpose (iFp) Studio is a youth-powered design and innovation program where young creatives channel their energy and creative vision to imagine and build a better world. Blending art, design, science, technology and storytelling within a social justice framework, iFp creatives engage in real-world client-sponsored projects. July 8 - August 9, weekdays from 9:15am-3:30pm at the Main Library

  During this reservation period, anyone who has completed Hive training and is badged to use equipment or studio(s) can reserve Hive equipment or studio spaces. Staff will assist participants as they are able.

  Summer Reading: Wingmasters presents the World of Owls (Boudreau)

  Boudreau Branch, 245 Concord Ave., Cambridge, MA 02138

  Featuring a variety of live owls, this captivating and informative program shows how owls use their specialized powers of sight, hearing, and flight to survive and thrive. A wealth of facts and folklore about these masters of the dark explains the natural and unnatural history of owls. Recommended for children ages 6 and up and their caregivers. Funding for Summer Reading has been generously provided by the City of Cambridge, Cambridge Public Library Foundation, Friends of the Cambridge Public Library and Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners

  Magic Tree House Book Group (O'Connell/Virtual)

  Our Magic Tree House book group is for kids ages 5-10. Check out a copy of the book beforehand, or download it from the Libby app. August's book is Warriors in Winter. This book group will meet virtually and in person at the O'Connell Branch. Please register below if you would like to attend virtually.
