Partner Programs

The Cambridge Public Library is proud to partner with a number of non-profit and educational institutions to offer STEAM programming to our community.

Cambridge Community Television (CCTV) offers a number of free courses at the library in photography, video and multimedia storytelling.  

Fab Foundation supports an international network of fabrication labs to provide community access to resources to educate, innovate and invent using technology and digital fabrication, thereby creating opportunities to improve lives and livelihoods around the world. 

Innovators for Purpose (IfP) provides multiple hands-on workshop and internship experiences for youth in middle school and high school to learn design, robotics, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

The Library Space Technology Network project in partnership with the John G. Wolbach Library at the Center for Astrophysics and the Libre Space Foundation offers our library community the chance to build and engage with space technology. 

We partner with The Public Library Innovation Exchange (PLIX) to offer workshops and professional development for our library staff.

The CPL works with Tech Goes Home (TGH) to teach adults fundamental digital skills including job searching, financial literacy, communicating with friends and family, and identifying resources. Upon completion of TGH, participants have the option of purchasing a new computer for $50.

JustAStart YouthBuild is a comprehensive youth development program for 16 to 24 year-old out of school youth that provides education, life skills training, and employment skills building. The Library has hosted an intensive digital literacy and career skills course in partnership with YouthBuild.
