Partner Programs

The Cambridge Public Library is proud to partner with a number of non-profit and educational institutions to offer STEAM programming to our community.

Cambridge Community Television (CCTV) offers a number of free courses at the library in photography, video and multimedia storytelling.

The CPL hosts its own Girls Who Code club, providing computer science education and tech industry field trips to girls in grades 6-12 throughout the academic year.

Innovators for Purpose (IfP) provides multiple hands-on workshops experiences for youth in middle school and high school to learn design, robotics, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

We are partnering with The Public Library Innovation Exchange (PLIX) to offer a series of workshops on space exploration and satellites.

The CPL is working with Tech Goes Home (TGH) to teach adults fundamental digital skills including job searching, financial literacy, communicating with friends and family, and identifying resources. Upon completion of TGH, participants have the option of purchasing a new computer for $50.

JustAStart YouthBuild is a comprehensive youth development program for 16 to 24 year-old out of school youth that provides education, life skills training, and employment skills building. The Library hosts an intensive digital literacy and career skills course in partnership with YouthBuild.
