Description

This class is full.

This series of creative workshops will lead participants to find memories and shape them into stories, to experiment with traditional folktales from around the world, and to discover and enjoy their own most comfortable and effective styles of storytelling. In eight sessions we will build skills and develop understanding of this age-old craft. In every meeting students will hear and tell stories, play story games, and learn and practice new aspects of the art form.  In addition, students will be encouraged to attend some of the many different storytelling events taking place in and near Cambridge. Towards the end of the course students will shape the meetings toward the group’s special interests, and together will plan a culminating event to end the course.
