New Rules for One-Day Liquor and Entertainment License

In an effort to streamline processes and increase transparency, the License Commission has created an application for the following requests: one-day liquor licenses, one-day entertainment licenses, and one-day liquor and entertainment licenses.  Effective immediately you must use these forms when applying for such requests with the Commission.

Please note all applications should be submitted at least two (2) weeks prior to the date of the event to allow sufficient time to consider the application, have the Commission request additional information if necessary, and comply with the Open Meeting Law.  The Commission will not take action on any application submitted to it less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to a Commission public hearing, unless such a request falls within an exception of the Open Meeting Law.  The Commission may vote on all applications at a public meeting where the applicant is not asked or required to attend and no testimony is sought.  The Commission reserves its right to schedule a hearing as to any application and/or request additional information or documentation prior to voting or issuing a one-day license.  The application forms and instructions are attached hereto.  The fees for these licenses have remained the same.

If you have any questions as to the process, please do not hesitate to contact us at Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.
