Paving Along Concord Ave

Street grinding

On Saturday, October 26th, weather permitting, the City's contractor, E.J. Paving, will be performing roadway grinding and paving operations to enhance the road conditions on Concord Ave. between Huron Ave. and Bond St. 

A detour will be in place for bus, bicycle and vehicle traffic to Garden St. No Parking signs will be posted 48 hours in advance. Work will take place between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and is expected to take 1 day to complete. 

What to Expect During Construction

  • Work hours will be 7 AM to 5 PM.
  • Emergency vehicles will have access at all times.
  • Police officers will be onsite to assist with traffic management. 
  • Crews will make every effort to open the roadway as soon as possible.
  • The road will be closed, but abutters will maintain access.
