In observance of Veterans Day on Wednesday, November 11th, there will be no trash or recycling pickup in Cambridge and no street cleaning. Collection will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week.

As a reminder, Cambridge has a new contractor for recycling and yard waste pick up beginning this month. The collection day will not change, however the collection time may shift week to week. All recycling and yard waste will be picked up between the hours of 7am and 4pm. If your building or household has a missed trash, recycle, compost or yard waste collection, please wait until 4 p.m. to report it. All missed collections should be reported at www.CambridgeMA.Gov/311 or by using the Commonwealth Connect app for iPhone/Android.

Street cleaning routes regularly scheduled for Wednesday, November 11th were swept on October 29th.

The offices at the Cambridge Cemetery at 76 Coolidge Avenue remain closed on Wednesday, November 11th, but cemetery gates will be open from 7AM-5PM.

City offices will be closed on Wednesday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day.
