September 11th Remembrance

On the morning of Sunday, September 11, 2022, the Cambridge Fire Department conducted a brief but respectful remembrance ceremony honoring those who were killed in the attacks on America on September 11, 2001.

In addition to remembering the 343 Fire Department members killed, we will also honor all those whose lives were lost that day and in the years since due to cancer and other illnesses as a result of responding to and working at the World Trade Center site in New York City. We also remember the brave men and women who have given selflessly in the armed forces to preserve the cause of freedom.

Members at all fire houses across the city participated in this ceremony simultaneously.
