See all the creativity that is Cambridge! Join us for the 10th annual Cambridge Arts Open Studios on Sept. 29 & 30, 2018, from 12-6 p.m. both days. From painting and pottery to natural soaps, jewelry, and refurbished furniture, Cambridge Arts Open Studios is a chance to visit 149 artists in their studios and in group exhibitions hosted throughout the city. Women in Cambridge: Cambridge Arts Open Studios - Art Talk

Cambridge Arts and the Cambridge Women’s Commission co-sponsor September’s Women in Cambridge meet-up. Join us for an artistic evening of socializing, snacking, and networking amongst the art at Gallery 344 in the City Hall Annex. We will learn about Cambridge’s vibrant Open Studios events happening this fall, hear from some of the participating artists, and learn about other imaginative and creative initiatives happening locally. Free and open to all.

Women in Cambridge is a dynamic, friendly and welcoming group of over 1000 professional women who meet monthly to socialize and network in Cambridge. At each event, we pair a great Cambridge restaurant/retail business/public space and a local service professional or organization, with an emphasis on women-owned and women-led businesses or organizations. We hear a little bit from our featured speakers and leave plenty of time for relaxed conversation.

Cambridge Arts Open Studios Preview Party and Group Exhibition

Kick off the Open Studios weekend by joining us for the Open Studios Preview Party. Meet the Open Studios artists and get a preview of the work you can see throughout the weekend at this group exhibition featuring two-dimensional and three-dimensional artworks. Free and open to all! Can’t make it to the party? The exhibit will be on view throughout the Open Studios weekend.

Community Workshop: Watercolor Painting with Diane Charyk Norris
Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. 
Lesley University Art + Design at the Lunder Arts Center, 1801 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge, Mass.

Lesley University Art + Design, through the generous support of the Alexander Fund for Watercolors, co-hosts a hands-on watercolor workshop led by Cambridge artist Diane C. Norris in partnership with the 2018 Cambridge Arts Open Studios.  The workshop is free and open to the public ages 14+ and LA+D undergraduate students.  Space is limited.
